- Neighborhood WatchMill Creek has recently had a meeting to start a neighborhood watch program. The residents need to identify who the block captains are going to be and become more formally organized. Then some paperwork will need to be completed. Once this occurs, then the actual neighborhood watch program for Mill Creek will be official. Some holiday safety tips:
Make sure to lock your car doors when parking to go in and out of stores.
Do not carry large amounts of cash while shopping.
If you are not going to carry your purse with you, do not take it.
If you leave your purse in the car, store it in the trunk when you leave your vehicle.
Do not leave big ticket item boxes/containers on the curb after Christmas. (You do not want a thief to know you just got a 60 inch flat screen t.v.)
